Evening of Song & Story

Why Songs? Why Stories?

An eating disorder gains its power from silence and secrecy.
Those who suffer often withdraw from their friends, family and normal activities. But those who voice their struggle begin to fight back; they break the eating disorder’s imposed silence by sharing their story. That simple, yet powerful act can initiate the process of recovery – and help return music to a life once deafened by a devastating mental illness.

"An Evening of Song & Story" is EDCT's signature fundraiser dinner.
